PeopleWorks offers a remarkable meeting and event space in the heart of Northwest Iowa! Let us help to make your meeting, training session, get-together, or party memorable. Our goal is to set you up for success so you and your guests can enjoy a fantastic experience.
Located on Main Street in Alta, Iowa, this newly renovated space is ideal for accommodating groups of up to 50 people. We have five large tables in the front of the building for seating. We have chairs for up to 36 people (24 roller chairs and 12 stools). There is also a large island toward the back of the building that has an additional 10 bar stools. There are four tables for serving food (or seating people) and two other tables to use for food or sign-in or display or whatever you need. We offer technology, including a 75″ LCD TV, surround sound, wireless internet, flip charts, and other options are available to help make your presentation or event engaging.
You are welcome to bring in food or have your event catered. Food trucks have been a popular option lately, too! We have a stainless steel, full size refrigerator for your use, as well as a coffee maker, convection microwave, and full size dishwasher. There are several catering options in Alta, let us know if you’d like help planning the food or snacks for your event.
Guests arriving from out of town? There are multiple accommodation options located in Storm Lake – only a 10 min drive away. Contact us and we’ll be happy to share our recommendations.
Unfortunately, there was no viable way to make the exterior of this old building handicap accessible. There are 3 stairs leading up to the main entrance. Once inside the building, it is fully handicapped accessible. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have questions about accessibility.
